10,744 delegates to vote for NPP Flag bearer

Ho, Aug. 6, GNA – A total of 10,744 delegates are expected to take part in the election of a flag bearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Volta Region on Saturday, August 7.

The election will take place at 1,955 polling stations in the 22 constituencies across the region.

Those eligible to vote include electoral area coordinators, regional executives, founding members and members of Tertiary Students Confederation of NPP (TESCON).

Mr Kenwuud Nuworsu, Volta Regional Chairman of the Party who briefed the GNA in Ho, said all was set for a free and fair election.

He urged delegates and members of the Party to ensure an incident free election.
