The 10-year-old girl who was sexually abused by a level 300 student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has passed on, Kasapafmonline.com understands.
The girl, according to sources familiar with her ordeal, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, same day the young man was arrested by the police.
The girl (name withheld) had complained of having some complications on her anus and was sent to the hospital for treatment.
Sources say the young girl was being fostered by the family of the KNUST level 300 student, a situation the young man took undue advantage of, and sexually abused her.
The young man is reported to have given the 10 year old girl eight tablets of paracetamol to kill the pains anytime he had sexual intercourse with her through the anus.
The young man is also reported to have warned the girl not to reveal his sexual encounters with her to anyone or else she will die.
Our sources say multiple lab tests conducted on the girl have revealed some damages on her anus with her intestines also badly affected.
Kasapafmonline.com cannot independently verify the extent of damage caused the young girl as a result of her ordeal in the hands of the KNUST level 300 student.
The police, we are told, have intensified investigations into the matter and will soon arraign the young man before the court.
