Agona Swedru, March 14, GNA – The driver of a taxi died on the spot and 13 people were injuries when two taxis and a truck were involved in an accident at Jacob, a village near Agona Swedru on Akim Oda/ Swedru main road last Sunday.
His name was given as Alex Donkor from Agona Swedru. Police Sergeant Francis Eihoon of the Agona Swedru Divisional Motor Traffic Transport Union (MTTU) told the GNA that the taxi Donkoh was driving collided with the truck.
He said after the accident Kobina Adams, the driver of a taxi that was following, attempted to avoid running into the accident vehicles but veered off the road and hit a bathroom near the road and injured four passengers on board. The injured were treated and discharged at the Winneba and Agona Swedru government hospitals. 14 March 11
